Heidi Leverty
Heidi Leverty is a graduate of OCAD.  As her chosen métier photography has allowed her to explore and develop her artistic vision in a myriad of environments around the world.
 
She explore the rich and complex environment outside where light, texture and random natural constructs present innumerable possibilities for her art.  She can be found investigating the wastelands of recycling plants, which she considers public galleries, in an effort to capture the beauty in the discarded remnants of our daily lives.
 
Her art focuses on items that are part of our daily lives, art that is integrated into the culture of our community worthy of abstract expression.  She looks for the unexpected and unpredictable and her random treasure hunts continue to unearth amazing examples of beauty transforming the mundane to the incredible through her images.
 
She has participated in exhibitions in Canada and internationally.
